At ISM Killarney Heights, we offer unique and engaging group music courses for students starting from 3 years of age. Our programs are designed to make learning music fun while ensuring comprehensive development in both technical and musical aspects.
We also provide private lessons for piano, guitar, drums, violin, and music theory. Our classes run from Monday to Saturday during public school terms.
Our programs for the youngest learners are tailored to nurture early music fundamentals in a fun and engaging way. The Jitterbugs program introduces pitch, rhythm, and motor coordination through singing, percussion instruments, and musical games.
The Beebopper program continues this journey, emphasizing fine motor control and pre-reading activities, with parents playing a supportive role. This sets the foundation for the Pianorama Junior Course, where children start learning the piano at age four.
Our Junior Music Course covers all the fundamentals necessary for practical and musical development.
Through a mix of piano tuition, percussion, theory, musical games, and music appreciation, students develop essential skills in an unpressured and structured environment.
Each student has access to a digital piano, ensuring hands-on learning.
The Primary Course focuses on technical and musical concepts through repertoire and technical exercises. Students engage in keyboard and percussion ensembles, music appreciation, and creative activities, enhancing their overall musicianship.
The Intermediate Course builds on this foundation, offering advanced repertoire, technical development, and solfege aural concepts. Students further their skills with harmonic extension, theory worksheets, and both ensemble and individual practical work.
The Extension Course is designed for graduates of our Primary and Intermediate Courses.
This program delves deeper into musical independence and advanced technical skills, covering all musical styles.
Students explore composition, improvisation, keyboard harmony, and more, preparing them for higher levels of musical achievement.
Our course materials are designed to be engaging and educational, available both as books and downloadable files. These materials cover all necessary repertoire and worksheets, making learning music enjoyable and straightforward.

Jitterbugs (2-year-olds): 30 minutes
Beeboppers and Pianorama Junior/Primary/Intermediate (3-7 years): 45 minutes
Pianorama Extension (9+ years): 60 minutes
Private lessons: 30, 45, or 60 minutes based on the student’s level.
